How does it work?
We set up a custom agreement based on the type of property that will work for Abode and owner. First we take your information and schedule a tour of your property to learn more about what makes it awesome. When you sign on, we get all the information about your home and schedule photography of the space to create the best possible listings and instructions for guests so we can proudly market your vacation rental.
We syndicate your listing to over a dozen partner channels designed to generate leads from across the country and the world, putting thousands of eyeballs on your property each month, and bringing guests to you.
Once your listings are live and we start booking, you will receive monthly account statements and a monthly rent check for the prior month’s reservations. The guests pay all charges associated with the rental, cleaning fee, taxes, as well as the rent to Abode, and Abode pays the owner portion out to you, less any incurred property maintenance expenses such as replacing items that break over time or need repair. Appliance service, re-gluing a table or chair that’s become loose, replacing service wear, furnishings, changing batteries and lightbulbs, unclogging stopped sink for a guest, and bedding and bath and linens that become damaged through normal use are the kinds of regular expenses incurred in managing a vacation rental which are simply deducted from the rental income we pay out each month, so you’ll never need to write us a check. We arrange with you ahead of time what kind of expenses we should take care of without delay, and what we should contact you about.
